Laird McQueen is an Analyst on the Commercial Financing team at First National, where his journey began as a summer student in the Commercial Servicing department. The following year, he joined Team Cook’s Origination group as a summer student and continued working part-time while completing his university studies. Upon graduation, Laird transitioned into a full-time role with Team Cook, bringing consistency, focus, and a strong work ethic to every project.

Known for his thoughtful approach and attention to detail, Laird reflects on each task to find ways to improve and streamline processes. He listens carefully, works with purpose, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. His organizational skills help him build systems that support efficiency and precision across the board.

Outside of the office, Laird is a passionate enthusiast of cars and sports—interests that fuel his drive and keep him energized. Whether he's analyzing a deal or catching a game, Laird brings the same level of dedication and enthusiasm to everything he does.
