Elena was part of the First National team during its early years in the industry. She rejoined in 2018, bringing numerous years of industry expertise to her role as Vice President of Residential Sales. Throughout her time in the industry, Elena has developed skills including sales, business development, management and training. As a strong communicator, she prides herself on being reliable, committed and dependable in her response to broker partners. Highly motivated to succeed, Elena is always inspired to find new and creative ways to achieve objectives. She considers herself a people person and tries to maintain a cheerful disposition and outgoing manner that puts people at ease.
When she’s not adding value for brokers, Elena enjoys exploring the globe, dancing and her volunteer commitments to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel.

Nicholas has been a part of the First National team since 2008. He brings a unique combined expertise in underwriting and mortgage sales to his role as Regional Sales Director. Responsive and always available to clients, he believes in treating others as you wish to be treated. With clients, that belief translates to consistent delivery and active listening.
When he’s not adding value for brokers, Nicholas spends time with his family and stays active playing hockey, baseball and golf.

Frederic joined First National in 2019 and has been a part of the banking industry since the early 2000's. Eight of those years were focused solely on working with mortgage brokers in a business development role providing advice, support and training. Always present and available for brokers, Frederic shares his passion for the industry and commitment to their success. He values honesty and integrity first and foremost, and integrates those two elements into his collaborative approach.
When he’s not adding value for brokers, Frederic travels, shoots hoops, experiments at new restaurants, plays poker and enjoys the odd cigar.

Anthony joined First National in 2015 as a Fulfillment Specialist and then progressed to Underwriter, Third Party. He left to pursue other opportunities in the industry in 2017 and returned in 2019. His experience encompasses mortgage/credit, as well as commercial sales. In all of his roles, there has been a strong relationship management component with both clients and brokers. A committed team player, Anthony believes that individual success is a product of the team succeeding. He prides himself on his proactive approach and skill for identifying issues and dealing with them before they become real challenges. His analytical nature allows him to evaluate situations from different perspectives and employ a solution mindset as part of his ongoing preparation.
When he’s not adding value for brokers, Anthony spends time with friends and family, plays sports and enjoys a good book.

Alexandra has been at First National since 2017 and spent five years prior working in the industry. Previous roles include mortgage renewals and customer service at a large bank. In her current role, she emphasizes the importance of quick follow-ups with both brokers and colleagues. Passionate about her work, Alexandra has a likeable nature and prides herself on her ability to get along with her team. Her efficiency allows her to consistently find solutions to address brokers’ needs.
When she’s not adding value for brokers, Alexandra stays fit by jogging, enjoys reading and explores the globe.

Romy joined First National in 2025 as Director of Business
Development, bringing with her 18 years of experience in the banking industry.
She is dedicated to strengthening relationships with mortgage brokers, growing
their business volume at First National, and retaining new partners to ensure
lasting success.
Prior to joining First National, Romy held a similar role
at B2B for three years, where she built strong relationships in the brokerage
community. Her career is marked by expertise in business development, a
strategic approach and a constant desire to surpass herself.
Known for her ability to build relationships, her ability
to develop effective action plans and her healthy competitive spirit, Romy is a
professional who always strives for excellence. She thrives in dynamic
environments and values human relationships as much as results.
Outside of work, Romy enjoys enjoying the outdoors, a passion that reflects her energy and personal balance.

Alison joined First National in 2019 and brings over a decade of experience in the financial industry to her role as Internal Business Development Manager. With a strong foundation in mortgage underwriting and customer service, she is committed to building meaningful relationships with brokers and helping them succeed through trust, responsiveness, and proactive support.
Before stepping into her current role, Alison spent four years as a mortgage underwriter at First National, giving her deep insight into the lending process. She also worked as a broker’s assistant, where she submitted files, reviewed documents, and liaised with both lenders and clients. Her early experience at BMO in mortgage renewals and lending further shaped her customer-first mindset.
Alison is known for her ability to build trust quickly, solve problems with a calm and focused approach, and keep deals moving efficiently. Her dedication to timely follow-up and smooth deal progression makes her a reliable partner for brokers looking to grow their business.
Outside of work, Alison enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending quality time with her family—activities that reflect her curiosity, warmth, and appreciation for connection.
