CMHC expertise. Diverse perspectives. Realistic expectations.
Team Allaire, in its current configuration, is a newer entity, but has several historical roots anchoring it. Benoit Allaire and Isabelle Rivrais worked together at CMHC for 15 years. They continued their collaboration when Benoit joined First National in 2017 to work for and eventually succeed Robert St. Pierre. Recently joined by Lina Angelini, the team focuses primarily on CMHC-insured mortgages for multi-family assets in Montreal, Quebec City and other major cities in Quebec. From their time at CMHC, Benoit and Isabelle offer unique perspectives on what CMHC assessors think, how they view the market, what they look for, what they like and don’t like and how to present deals with palatable risk. With that insight, the team can set realistic expectations while still pushing forward passionately toward clients’ objectives, value and results. Lina comes from a large institutional background, where she focused on underwriting and business development. From working within that structure, she has an innate understanding how to evaluate deals vigilantly, and offers a realistic perspective on what is plausible. While their expertise may be diverse, as a team, they commit to several common values. Client goals come first. Simplify the process. Stay true to our word. As a team, Benoit, Isabelle and Lina trust each other, communicate openly, solution collaboratively and support each other respectfully. The care they have for each other and the way they work internally as a team permeates out to how they engage with clients.
